Visiting Marukobashi Golf Range today
- What it is: A golf practice range on the Tama River floodplain, with a driving range, an approach area up to 45 yards, three bunker practice booths and a natural-grass putting green.
- Getting there: From Shin-Maruko Station (Tokyu Toyoko and Meguro Lines), go through the east-side shopping street, cross Tsunashima Kaido, turn left at Daiga-in temple and walk about 250 m to the signal, then over the embankment. Parking is available.
- Hours: Open every day except 1 January, 7:00 to closing: 16:00 in Nov-Jan, 16:30 in Feb and Oct, 17:00 in Mar-Sep. Last reception is 30 minutes before closing. Generally closed on days of all-day rain, so call ahead (044-411-4005).
- Admission: ¥550 entry, plus balls: 60 for ¥990 or 120 for ¥1,980 on weekdays; ¥1,100 and ¥2,200 on weekends and holidays. Approach or bunker practice ¥1,450 per hour, putting ¥530 per hour.
