Visiting Nidec Kyoto Tower today
- What it is: A 131 m tower opposite Kyoto Station, opened in December 1964, with an observation deck at 100 m. It now carries the name Nidec Kyoto Tower.
- Getting there: A 2-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. There is no car park.
- Hours: 10:00-21:00, last entry 20:30, open every day of the year; on 16 August it closes at 18:30.
- Admission: ¥900 for adults.
