Kanazawa City Walk

A day in Kanazawa, the old castle town on the Sea of Japan coast. I started with the view from my hotel and walked across the centre of town towards the castle.

Kanazawa escaped bombing in the war, so old buildings and wide tree-lined streets sit right next to the shopping streets around Korinbo.

From here I went on to Kanazawa Castle, and in the evening to the Nagamachi samurai district.
