Visiting Kyoto Tamba/Kameoka Yume Cosmos Garden today

  • What it is: A seasonal field of about 8 million cosmos flowers in many varieties, planted each autumn beside Kameoka Sports Park.
  • Getting there: From JR Kameoka Station (Sagano/San'in Line from Kyoto Station), take a Keihan Kyoto Kotsu bus to Undo Koen-mae.
  • Hours: 2026 season 1 October to 8 November, 9:00-16:30 (last entry 16:00).
  • Admission: ¥800 adults on weekdays, ¥1,000 at weekends and on holidays; free for junior high school age and under.
  • Tip: In 2026 the National Urban Greening Fair in Kyoto Tamba was held next door at the same time, so expect bigger crowds than usual.
