Love the vids! Found this on Youtube from an individual that shoots videos just cruising around various parts of Japan shooting with a Canon 5D2,EF24mm-F2.8,GLIDECAM HD-2000. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcAZESRR4R4
That is the perfect complement to your Shibuya series!
This is the kind of things I really, really like… deep in people’s life.
The future holds good stuff for us all!! 🙂
Hmmm wasn’t really impressed by those video. For example the Tokyo life one was blazing by so fast that I just stopped halfway trough as that MTV style editing just annoys me if I wanna be looking at something interesting.
Shibuya faces .. hmm , I tought it was a bit bland too. I do have to give it to the man; it takes alot of GUTS to point a camera straight at somebody’s face and in this case keep it there for 5-10 seconds. wow. I’m a bit shy when it comes to pointing a huge ass camera down some strangers face; especially on vacation in a country like Japan that I really respect (and that there are some funky privacy laws going about that can get .. you in confusing situations)
All in all; Give me Shibuya246’s pics any day, even over other bloggers even the likes of Danny (no disrespect intended; he’s done alot of great things) as I think Shibuya246’s pictures are alot more insightfull into Japanese daily life; and that’s what I want to see :]
Thanks. Appreciate the recommendation on the photos. I will try to keep some good natural images coming. Shibuya is always cool!
Tokyo Videos, Japan Living http://bit.ly/bkrp6l Ok vids. But give me Shibuyas pictures any day. I agree totally w/lithiumangel in everything he says. Your pictures give more meaning to street life and all the surrounding areas. If i don’t make alot of sense in my remarks it’s just tha I got back from the dentist had 2 extractions and new upper dentures made cause one of my dogs ate the partial. The novacane is wearing off and it starting to hurt. Just took pain meds, and may make me drowsy. Sorry.
Keep the Great pictures comming! 🙂
get better soon 🙂
Thanks for all that.
Love the concept though I’ve got to agree that Alan’s photo’s are by far the best amongst the Japanese bloggers (including Muza-chan who also takes amazing photos).
Shibuya246’s photo have heart and a sense of meaning (usually because they are ‘planned’ out as such)….heck, even the random ones are well composed!
Thanks for the vote. much appreciate your comments 🙂 I also like Muza chans blog.
