Sakura mochi

I had some tea and Sakuramochi while in Kyoto. Sakuramochi is a type of wagashi, Japanese sweets, made from red bean paste and wrapped in a sakura leaf. Th leaves are normally dry preserved from the previous season. The Kansai sakuramochi is made differently to that in Kanto. Can you tell the difference?
