Jan Jan sauce yakisoba in an interesting shape pack
Another week with some produce from conbini’s outside of Tokyo. Most of the shots here were either from a Conbini in Kanawa-shi, Ishikawa-ken, or a service area conbini on the way from Shirakawago to Kanazawa. The goat was from the service area, not downtown Kanazawa.

Tororo Konbu. I was half tempted

Shiroebi potato chips

Kanazawa Rusk bread

Yokan

Hotate in a pack

Some more nice snacks here

Special anko sweets from Toyama-ken

Found this goat hanging about outside the conbini. I think the fresh milk in the store was from him

New snack potatoes from calbee. I saw a good program on tv that said calbee harvest 10% of all potatoes in Japan. Thats a lot of potatoes

Caramel koala snacks

Chocoball in all the flavors

Kit Kat au lait. Someone has got to have tried this already. What does it taste like?

Hokkaido milk chocolate from Meiji

Peko-chan still popular after all these years

Beans

Dontacos

I tried this brand of Sake (the one on the left) at the local restaurant in Kanazawa

A magazine about Kanazawa lifestyle

Some of the other magazines on offer

And more and more and more

I’ve had these before. Nice.
Japanese make some beautiful foods!
OMG, I think this is Takeru from Kamen Rider Den-O!
The cafe au lait KitKats are a repackaging of a regular (4-finger) size, and they’re pretty good, though rather sweet as all of the white chocolate-based KitKats are.
The Calbee sweet potato snacks are seasonal. This is a return of the same product, but they’re good snacks. I reviewed them last winter and recommended them. They’re light and relatively low calorie as well as pretty tasty!
Had some royal milk tea KK the other day and they were so good!
And she has a name! (I figured it’s a she judging from it’s name tag.) Did you buy their fresh milk? haha
