Not sure whether my phone was trying to focus on the smart shoes or the pink candy treats. The pink shoes on the right went nicely with the candy though.

I was carrying 2 other bags when I took the photos this week and so my phone camera did not remain as steady as normal. I hope you can make out the pictures well enough to at least see what is on offer.

My hand slipped as I took this on the iPhone. Nice line up of energy drinks. Maybe I needed to try some to steady my hand.

Simple packaging but good looking custard pudding (purin) and annin doufu.

Morinaga have brought out a range of cookies that look like they got caught in a time warp. The flavors look good though.

The weather is picking up now and I expect to see a range of summer foods / drinks just around the corner in the local convenience stores.

Also, for those Evangelion fans you may have already seen the Gigazine article on the Lawson Eva Conbini in Hakone. This looks to be a special place to visit.
