Gachapin and Mukku. Are you following them on Twitter?

Went shopping today at Yokohama and only had my iphone with me. Here are a few shots from some shops I couldn’t go past without checking the goods. Looks like it is going to be a good year for Rilakkuma, Gachapin, Mameshiba and Ghibli.

Plenty of Ghibli here for everyone.

  2. Bizarre facial expressions on those characters in the top photo. Love them though. I’m looking forward to when I’ll have the opportunity to do some shopping there.

  3. The ever popular Gacha machines. I wish they were more popular overhere.

  4. RT @tweetmeme Japan Characters, Japan character goods | Shibuya246 http://bit.ly/7dUNwf It’s good to see fresh new styles for the new year. The Ghibli characters and stories are priceless. I wish the Gacha machines would sell better over here. The ones we have are just cheap and imitation looking. I’d probably go broke, haha trying those out.
Have fun in Yokahama with your family, and take care.

  5. I love this post~! Character goods are my favorite things haha. I was just in Yokohama a couple days ago, and went to those same stores as you. Thanks for sharing the photos^^

    • There is no edit function, so you have to move the note before saving. When you hover over the photo you can see the “Add Note” button in the bottom right. Click on that and the box to add text appears in the top left corner of the photo. You should be able hover over that box, click the left button of the mouse and move it. You can enlarge left and down. Tell me if there is a problem. I will be upgrading the annotate note system after I get back from Yokohama. Need to test it a bit more first. :)

  7. I have a chu totoro of this! I love Totoro. (^-^)
