I forgot to post this a while ago when a friend told me about it. San-x released a special Rilakkuma set for the New Year. They came on sale on November 14, 2009 on the Rilakkuma net shop, but were quickly snapped up and last I heard, are all sold out.

2010 is the Year of the Tiger. Can you see Rilakkuma holding the tiger?

Looks like 2010 is going to be a big year for Rilakkuma and friends.ใ€€If you need any help with net shopping drop me a line or leave a note in the comments.

What would be your most wanted Rilakkuma product?

  1. alafista says

OMG I want those! I think my most wanted Rilakkuma product would be a giant plush Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma, and I mean those really really huge ones as big as a small kid. ^^

One you can hop in the back of and dance around like at the game centers ?

  2. Renechong says

Korilakkuma looks so cute with the little tiger! And like alafista, my most wanted Rilakkuma product would be the giant Rilakkuma plush toy.

  3. Sara Mari says

Oh that’s too bad they sold out so quickly, but I can see why, they are terribly cute^^ I’m a bit sad that my year of ox is ending. Nothing lucky happened for me XP

    1. shibuya246 says

you still have a few more weeks. The official Chinese year doesn’t end until around Feb ๐Ÿ™‚

RT @Shibuya246: Rilakkuma Year of Tiger, 2010, Japan character goods | Shibuya246 http://bt.io/BOYb Your are really tempting me this time. You know Rilakkuma is my fave and the 1 I would deffinately want would be the one w/him holding the tiger so cool. When are they going to be back in stock? Any clue?
On another subject, with it being wintertime in Japan, I don’t know how much snow you get in your area, but checking back home in Green Bay and they’re fixing to get 8-12 inches in the next day or so. I’ve forgotten what that kind of snow is like. Brrrr…..

    1. shibuya246 says

that sounds cold. we don’t normally get snow in Tokyo. If it does snow, it normally doesn’t settle on the ground. hope you don’t catch a cold.

  5. Nelly says

They are AMAZING! I’ve promised not to buy any more plush toys, but every Rilakkuma mascot I see makes me rethink that…

  6. salvidali says
