CGM Night #6 was held at the HQ of Cospa, a muti-talented company that also makes cosplay costumes. These are some of its range.
CGM Night #6 was held last night at the Shibuya head office of Cospa. The location was perfect and by the time I arrived the room was already full.

Danny introducing the CGM Night event.

Explaining a little bit about the characters and costumes.

Cospa costumes on display with dannychoo.com line in the mix.

With everyone taking photos, it was hard to get a spot.

King of cosplay, Kaname-san

Stormtrooper center stage.

President of Cospa, Hashimoto-san joins the group

Taking a look through @Gakuranman's Olympus camera as the speeches start for CGM Night #6.

The Stormtrooper with KANAME-san.

So many cameras, it was hard for people to know where to look.

Plenty of poses for the cameras.

Daughters on display, working hard to show off their elegance.

I didn't really come dressed right for the occasion. Where is my cospa costume?

Danny and Kaname getting ready for some filming.

Time to check a few notes whilst getting ready.

These were a popular item. I don't think anyone tried to smuggle one out of the office and carry it back on the train home ^_^.

@iMorpheus sneaks in a shot of some friends.

Posters in the Cospa HQ.
The room was just the right size for the amount of people. Although it was crowded, it made it very easy to talk with people and just “bump” into them for a chat.

Plenty of chance to swap business cards and chat about projects.

Selection of work by attending illustrator.

The room was packed. It was hard to find your way from one side to the other, but great fun to meet everyone.

Me and Hashimoto-shacho, the boss of Cospa.

Goodies on display from Cospa at Cospa HQ.

Danny takes time out for some food, but the camera keeps him busy anyway.

Time for some photos with @Gakuranman and friend.

Everyone having fun.

Taking a look at some work by talented illustrator from Canada, hoping to move to Japan.

More artwork on display from a great illustrator. You might have seen some of her work on the dannychoo.com site?
You can see some more of her work here as well.

Amano Ai-san shows some of her portfolio to eager fans.

This selection of work being shown by Amano Ai-san was very popular.

Some great straps and characters decorating this bag. A great addition to the CGM Night theme.

Some of the goodies I scored and a few meishi from CGM Night #6
Another great CGM Night with an interesting theme. Thank you Danny, and thank you Cospa. You can see more photos from Steve Nagata at his flickr account here and some great photos from zuco as well.
Check out this great shot by drzuco and more at his flickr account.

Great shot here
After spending so much time talking to people online it is nice to connect with a few of them face to face as well. For all those overseas who can’t make it to Japan, maybe we will have organize some events in other cities/countries as well?

Nice pictures
And thanks for the strategic finger placement on my business card ^^ Was fun to meet you last night – we should do a blogging collab or something in the future!
That’s a great idea. Hope to meet you again at next event
Is it me, or are some of those cosplay boys prettier than the girls? Or are some of those “girls” boys? I’m so confused.
RT @Shibuya246: CGM Night #6 at Cospa HQ, Japan Living | Shibuya246 http://bt.io/BJQb A great time had by everyone in attendance. The one standing next to Kaname-san looks like a statue, especially in the 2nd photo, sorta like a figure in a wax musemn. How close is the cospa office ,to where your located? Kaname add all the other cosplayers were a big hit at the recent AFA09 in Singapore That sure seemed to me like a small room w/all those people inside. The illustrators name is Kurot. One Danny Choos articles showed her drawing Dannys mascot in like 8 minutes, w/just a black marker. She is quite talented, I should say.
I used to have a Backpack that I used for one of my jobs, and it had all type of keychains attached to it. Everyone would ask it looks like your in highschool, why don’t you grow up. Some people just don’t understand.
That organizing an event in another place or country, especially for me would be great, seeing I won’t be able to be there anytime soon.
That cosplayer is Sora from the Kingdom Hearts game series. Looks like another fun event

Didn’t want to make him blush, Totololo but agreed
I always think what gentlemen the Japan bloggers look to be.
