Not sure whether there will be a name change or even some store mergers and closures. I have way to many cards in my wallet, but I heard that the Japanese mobile phones let you transfer many point cards to your phone. no more need for plastic. iPhone is way behind on this type of integration which is sad. I think I need 2 phones.

I am delighted to hear from you and to know that you had a great trip. It sounds like you experienced some great places. Having read your comment, I feel like I should make a map of the places from my blog so that in future others could also follow the route.

Thanks so much for telling us about your trip. It is great to have your feedback.

Next time lets catch up for a quick photo snap in Shibuya :)

Nice to read your blog again, Shibuya-san ! I've finally been to Japan at the end of last month, and this blog helped me a lot, especially about what food and drinks to try, and where to find them !

I bought Ginger Ale Kit Kats and Rilakkuma sweets, I drank Calpis (including the one with mikan), Fanta Cider and many bottles of Pocari Sweat, I crossed the Shibuya crossing many times, I saw the Meiji Chocolate-sponsored Yamanote train, the Rilakkuma store in Tokyo Station (although I preferred to spend some yens at the Mameshiba flash boutique a few metres away !) and the crying bears statues at Odaiba, I could go on and on, but really, your blog has been very informative to me.

And now, I'll be able to say with pride "I've been there !" whenever you post photos of Shibuya ! :D

Was running out of room so will use another comment box. With all the different stores offering point cards, like the Capital One CM over here says: "Whats in Your Wallet"? How many do you have in yours?
Well take care of yourself, and let us know how this latest stone turns out.
Have a great week. :)

RT @Shibuya246: Conbini Monday Wk28, Japan Japan | Shibuya246 http://bt.io/ANOk
Sorry to here you have another kidney stone, hibernating. Just when you thought you were rid of them. :( It's good that you have Rilakkuma to help you pick out the nuts, just the right one to help. :) And cashews and macademia nuts are my 2 favorite types. Planters nuts here in the states have a combo of both nuts, really a great blend of flavors. But they're expensive, $6.00-7.00 USD for a 6oz can, sheesh! There are many companies that you can order your Christmas cards from, including Hallmark. Also companies like Hickory Farms, and Swiss Colony are the top 2 companies that sell gift baskets with all types of traditional goodies. Meats and cheese, fruits and nuts or any combo you want. I just saw that Totanoco's nanchatte cola on another website just the other day, people have to look twice to make sure they are getting the right thing. Also try saying calpis 5-6 times really fast and see what you get. So will the am/pm stores change their name to Family Mart?

When I was a kid I used to buy banana/kiwi soft drink in Croatia, was excellent.
I think it still exists, in my country such tastes do not exist, no mikan, no meron, no strange stuff.

Only juice in 1L formats. But juice is more expensive than a soft drink.

I'd like to try 'em all, I already got rice to make onigiris from my japanese guest, drinks are not allowed in planes :(
