Rilakkuma checking out these tasty soybean cereal bars from Yakult
Yakult is well known for its Yakult milk drink which can be found in supermarkets overseas as well as Japan. Yakult has a number of subsidiaries that make other products such as these cereal bars made from Yakult Health Foods.
The banana and coconuts bar was a treat. I ate the maple syrup bar when I was on the golf course
I haven't tried the plain chocolate bar yet, but the apple tart was delicious
These minestrone soup with ginger and Korean samugetan soup with ginger are packaged saying they are good to help women overcome the cold
If ginger is good in soup then it is even better in tea. These bottles are served hot and contain milk tea with ginger
There are some new chocolates around from meiji. This box of strawberry chocolates look good. They are just out for the winter season
I almost ate the box when I saw these Bourbon sweets. The packaging conveys a really good image of yummy chocolate and sweet caramel taste
One thing which you often find in the convenience store is a corner stocked with bites to go down with beer or Japanese sake. Otsumami (おつまみ) usually give me the image of old men sitting around sipping sake and eating dried squid or beef jerky. Lets have a look at some of the offerings here.

Spicy beef jerky and dried squid at 105 YEN a pack. Somebody pass the sake please

Country Ma'am by Fujiya make a great chocolate chip cookie. Their new line of cookies have a yuzu flavor to them from Kochi in the South of Japan

I love dried squid. They make great companion for some after dinner snacks and beer while you chat with your friends.
When I first saw the title on Twitter, I thought it was Yakult flavored cereal bars
The bourbon chocolates looks so good! hope that they’ll have it in the Japanese mart here
intersting to note the Yakult snack bars advertise as 50 kcals. Snack bars trying to advertise low calories here all say 100 cals
there are so many products here trying to be low cal snack bars. i prefer to see a nutrient bar than a diet bar

I think i’ve seen the cm for it on tv for the Yakult milk drink, will have to pay closer attention to make sure it’s the same brand you are talking about. if it is, they sure are some small bottles. Yakult, don’t they also have a Baseball team? I think they’re called the “Swallows”. The bars look yummy, nom nom.

Which one is your fave/ mine would be the chocolate. Ginger milk tea sounds good also. Those bourbon chocolates, do they have a liquor smell or taste to them? Cause the ones I’ve had here, the smell and taste can “Knock you for a Loop”! That fanta drink, is that still a Coca Cola subsiderary? What flavor is that?
Now I’m a stickler for cookies, would really like to try them. And the jerky, don’t know if I’d like squid,just doesn’t appeal to me. I’ma liken the beef flavor. around here they’res alot of different types of snacks to munch on while drinking beer, we have one called “Beer Nuts” sort of a sweet and salty type of peanut,tates great w/ beer or soda.
