Meltykiss is hitting the shelves hard at the moment in quite a few different conbini chains

Lots of great action for this weeks combini monday. Plenty of new snacks coming into the stores as we push on towards the colder winter months. The stores always seem to hold a greater appeal when you have to rush in out of the rain and warm up inside.

And if you are greeted with this display of Meltykiss then you will be even more happy to get in store.

Looks like a Meltykiss meltdown. I always like the name of this chocolate. Great advertising concept

It is not just food we were tracking down this week. Here are a set of shirts and tie on the shelves at Family Mart

and some hand gel to keep the germs away. These products are starting to sell as fast as the face masks. You carry the small bottle with you and can dab on some alcohol gel anytime during the day

This is my favorite purin brand, the Morinaga yaki purin. not too soft but doesnt taste like plastic. Definitely worth a try!

Spotted these interesting purins as well. It says 'the ideal purin, male sweets department'. Wonder what it means?

Health bars are getting more and more popular and now there are corners in the conbini’s dedicated to them as much as the health drinks.

The Calorie Mate bars have been popular for a long time, and still sell quite well. I like the chocolate flavored one. Recently more health bars have been gaining popularity. Weider, who make a protein and vitamin jelly drink have now started promoting their protein bar

The Weider bar contains 10g or 7g of protein depending on the bar size. Compared to brands overseas who sell bars over 20g, that is not a lot, but this is the first protein bar I have seen on sale in the convenience store. Anyone else seen other ones?
