Lots of great action for this weeks combini monday. Plenty of new snacks coming into the stores as we push on towards the colder winter months. The stores always seem to hold a greater appeal when you have to rush in out of the rain and warm up inside.

And if you are greeted with this display of Meltykiss then you will be even more happy to get in store.

Health bars are getting more and more popular and now there are corners in the conbini’s dedicated to them as much as the health drinks.

The Calorie Mate bars have been popular for a long time, and still sell quite well. I like the chocolate flavored one. Recently more health bars have been gaining popularity. Weider, who make a protein and vitamin jelly drink have now started promoting their protein bar

The Weider bar contains 10g or 7g of protein depending on the bar size. Compared to brands overseas who sell bars over 20g, that is not a lot, but this is the first protein bar I have seen on sale in the convenience store. Anyone else seen other ones?

Wish they sold those Melty Kiss products here in the states. As far as a favorite mine would also be strawberry. Protien bars are also a big seller over here, in the states. 1 whole section of the local walmart is devoted to nothing but the bars and the drinks.
Looking through the vids of the weider cms ,I reconize the actor from the J-Dramas, as being the same actor who starred in “Buzzer Beat” and “Code Blue”. Yampi sure seems to be popular. I wonder if he has any more dramas he’s working on? Would you happen to know if he’s doing any others?

Currently, he’s not doing any drama. He’s usually in one drama in a year time.
But he’ll be releasing a single soon next month and he’ll be having a solo concert too
