Inside the Minato Mirai Line Station. An Akita-ken festival was being held in the concourse. yoghurts, melons and other things available to be checked out. Maybe a trip to Akita is worth doing?
The weather looked like rain today, but since I had been away from Japan for a while, I decided to get out and brave the coldish looking weather. It wasn’t that bad and my quick trip to Yokahama was enjoyable. Here are a few snaps from the day.
The Minato Mirai Station, (Harbor Future)
The Minato Mirai Line is still quite new and everything looks fresh and kindaika. The Toyoko Line used to run from Shibuya to Sakuragikicho, but know it has diverted and comes through Minato Mirai before going on to China Town, Chuka Motomachi
About to board this train from Minato Mirai station to Yokohama station where I will change to the Tokaido Line
Inside the Minato Mirai Line trains, which are the same as the Toyoko Line trains running to Shibuya. The signs are in Japanese and English and easy to understand.
Waiting on the platform at Yokohama to change trains to the Tokaido Line heading towards Tokyo
Nice to see some kit kats at the right hand end position of this vending machine. I got a Pocari Sweat
Need to have a sweet cake to finish the day. The fruits roll cake has caught my eye. Too good to resist.
