I took a walk up to Meiji Jingu on the weekend. As always, there were lots of other people around and cameras snapping everywhere, but the walk through the grounds is so quiet and peaceful you hardly notice.

I didn’t take many shots, but here are a few that captured the day.

Have you visited Meiji Jingu? What are some of the places you most want to see when visiting to Japan?

  1. I’ve walked through Meiji Jingu once. Lots of people were there but it still managed to feel peaceful.

  2. RT @Shibuya246: Meiji Jingu Walk, Japan Culture | Shibuya246 http://bt.io/FHe What a peaceful looking park. I’ve been reading about people complaining of the lack of greenery around, but you are always able to find it . :) Areat way to recharge the batteries for the hectic week ahead. Even a wedding ceremony is a peaceful and quite colorful event. If I ever make it over there, you’ll have to show me all thee great places.
When will you be leaving for Australia? Taking Rilakkuma with you?
    Well have a great week.
