That's a long but awesome walk. I walked one night from Shinjuku to Roppongi in the snow and still remember how great it was :)

I like the low aperture close up people shot's in black and white because they keep your attention at Tokyo's fashion and your not distracted by shibuya's flashy colors. The city shot's would be better in color imo, maybe other parts of Tokyo go better in black and white.

Thanks. I have had a mixed response to the black and white. Some people like them, some don't. My favorite is the first photo, the rest not so bothered about.

I'll try some again later in the year, in a different setting.

Appreciate your comment, and just checked out your blog again at http://yonasu.com . Looking good :)

RT @Shibuya246: Shibuya Streets Vol5, Japan shibuya streets | Shibuya246 http://bt.io/F74
I actually like both. black and white gives you a different perspective on how you look at things, diff angles, and how you approach the subject. Black and white photos aloow you to use your imagination to inject your thoughts and feelings. Almost like old time tvs or especially old radio broadcasts, that's where you really could use your imagination, think" War Of The Worlds" But then again B/W photography was what everybody started out with.
All of your photos make me wish I was in Japan right now.
Have a great weekend. :)

I prefer your color photos. B&W photos can be stunning if used appropriately, but they don't really fit your subject matter imo.
