Now a novel idea that is not so commercially driven has surfaced, the Moe Temple at Ryouhouji Temple, Hachioji, Tokyo.

  1. This is prime for a “you know you’ve been in Japan too long” comment – when you read “Moe”, and don’t think of the 3 Stooges, you know you’ve been in Japan too long. ;-)

  2. Nit: $100M USD would be 9.5 billion yen, not 90M yen as stated here.
