Busy Day in Shibuya for Showa no Hi

The main crossing in Shibuya. Always busy. Particularly so today
It was busy out in town today with shoppers everywhere. The official reason for the day off was to celebrate Showa no Hi, for the previous Emperor. The shoppers might have known that and they might not, but it wasn’t stopping them from their objective.
The last few days the weather has been changing rapidly from cold to warm back to cold again. Today was perfect weather and combined with the mid-week holiday the crowds took to the streets in force, at least they did in Shibuya.
I took some quick shots of the crossing in Shibuya and the center-gai area to show the crowds, and also captured a few advertising spots as well.
